TRIPLETS!

disclaimer. i am currently listening to christmas music. and thoroughly enjoying it. don't get me wrong, i love love love thanksgiving and all it entails and i mean no disrespect to that blessed holiday when i tell you that i am proudly blasting a david archuleta josh groban christmas mix right this very second, and oh how it is warming my soul to the very core. I'm teaching my baby (pre fetus, might i add) that this is by all means appropriate behavior. sorry to all those people who get severely offended at people who start the celebration of the year a bit early. and if you ask me, there are better reasons to get offended. if you are really that desperate to be offended go call up simon cowell or something. and if it annoys you then just be grateful you aren't my baby, who is really the only other being who is affected by this truly festive and delightful decision i have made. now go listen to some christmas music all you grinches out there, it will cheer you right up. promise.

but really, words cannot describe the pure honey-like joy that my body fills up with when i listen to christmas music. or participate in anything christmas related, really.
the christmas season is like a hand warmer (with perks) for your heart.
there is something so beautiful, unique, and uniting about it.
heaven knows we all need to be a little more united right now.
this is, after all supposed to be: one nation under God, INDIVISIBLE
ring a bell?
well it should ring a bell.
and while on that topic. i also love christmas bells.
i love bell choirs, i love sleigh bells, and i even love those bells that those sweet people ring profusely outside of every wal mart, coercing us to those little red jars of charity.

oh and I'm not having triplets. (take a big breath already!)
my blog has received a small amount of views lately.and kind comments that instill in me a feeling of great validation and importance are lacking. so i thought that a catchy post title might get some of your attention before i was forced to resort to creating fake google accounts and submit fabricated comments to make myself feel more popular.
no pressure. its just my blogging self esteem on the line.
truthfully im not that desperate, just thought it would be kinda funny.
sorry if you don't think so...gotchya!
i basically just wanted to talk about how excited i am for christmas.. and for thanksgiving.
this time of year is full of so much happy anticipation. :)
oh and to ramble. my specialty.

oh and since i don't post many pictures on here. here are some random ones.
oh and for the last christmas reference of this post, id like to explain that
the reason i don't have pictures is because i am currently without camera, and poor.
so there is that.
so uhm, if you wan a get me a christmas present, that may be a good idea. just saying.

this is my all time favorite picture of my husband. he is opening his mission call. it completely encompasses his joy and vigor for life that i love and admire so much.

cheese soup. i love soup in colder months. especially this kind :)
except for when i make it and have way too many leftovers, then realize 2 weeks later that a big pot of it is sitting in the fridge and is the culprit of the random rancidness that has been gracing our apartment. my dear husband cleaned it out after i attempted and almost instantly threw up.
#pregnant problems.
ok i don't even have a twitter, but I'm trying to fit in.

my favorite picture from our honeymoon. i love us. and i want to flip his lip.

my first and last miserable attempt at making cake balls for the 4th of july. I've been repressing this image for quite some time but i figured it was time to confess and forsake.
take a gander at this next time you make cake balls which will inevitably look better than these.

last but not least id like to share a recent quote from my husband that went something along the lines of this:
"i always told myself and was preparing myself to settle down quite a bit when i got married and become a little more boring, but i think you have only enhanced this behavior with your own craziness!"
we have a little too much fun together! :)

  2. Those cake balls were good! And your triplet line never fooled me but I read anyway! And I am thrilled that my grand baby is being taught already the critical fact that without music, there is no life. And someday I hope to flip Jeff's lip...

  4. Yes, the "triplets" line caught my attention. Glad you are only having one -- you can have triplets when you are done with school. I'm still trying to figure out who is going to babysit our kids for my 15th anniversary trip with Kim if you & Jeff are busy with a newborn. It almost feels like you weren't considering OUR schedule when you planned this pregnancy.

p.s. As much as I love music, I am vehemently opposed to Christmas music prior to Thanksgiving. It's like eating marshmallow peeps at Valentine's day. There must be clear & distinct separation of the holidays. Granted, there really isn't a Thanksgiving music genre but you could start with some Aaron Copland and see where that takes you.

    1. hahaha this comment made my day. i will miss your kids, maybe after awhile i can bring my baby over to occupy lexi and chelsea. haha
you are the only person who can get away with opposing christmas music before thanksgiving and getting away with it.
ps. I'm eating peeps RIGHT NOW too. ;)

  5. yup the triplets title definitely fooled me! i try to have crazy titles to get a shock factor too :) and with the cake balls/pops problem, i've made em a few times and man i find them so complicated! at least the pops part. BUT my mom got me a cake pop maker from babycakes and it's a life saver!! try it :)

  6. Not going to lie, I was fooled by the title... I laughed at the little insight about almost throwing up when tossing out your soup. Not much has changed- I remember when even the slightest foul smell or image would instantly make you throw up in high school. Hah, so funny.

  9. GOt me! Haha. I think it'd be so fun...but actually one of the hardest things ever! lol. I Guess it'd make the rest of your kids seem easy, right? Also, I want a camera too! Really bad, actually. I can't believe how expensive they are--the good ones? Ridiculous.

  18. With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of
plagorism or copyright infringement? My website has a lot
of completely unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being stolen? I'd truly appreciate it.
