best recipe known to man {Sinner's Delight}

jeff and i have a favorite dessert.
it's called sinner's delight.
there are some other less appropriate names i have heard for it as well.
but i think sinner's delight is very fitting because
it presents an unsurmountable temptation that will cloud all good judgment.

naturally, we decided to make this as our date night last friday night.
it was an excellent choice.

so to make sure I'm not the only sinner in this world,
I'm going to share this delectable recipe.

it's 4 layers of delicious perfection

LAYER 1:
1cup flour
1cube  or half cup butter
3 T powdered sugar
1 cup of crushed pecans
But it in a bowl and blend it up then press it in a 9/13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 min.
Let it cool ( fridge)

LAYER 2:
-8oz cream cheese
-1 cup powdered sugar
- HALF of a 12oz container of cool whip.  (you're saving the rest of it for later)
-Blend it up with hand mixer.
{it may be a bit lumpy; you might want to slightly warm the cream cheese}
-Spread it over first layer.
-seal the edges with the cream cheese mix and make sure there are no gaps where you can see the bottom layer when finished.
-let it cool in fridge until firm enough to add another layer (1-2 hours)

LAYER 3:
Chocolate pudding
get pudding packet (instant)
3 C of milk.
stir together and let cool for 5 minutes
add to the bottom 2 layers

LAYER 4:
Add the rest of the cool whip on top after the pudding has firmed up in the fridge
then sprinkle a handful of pecans on top.

LAST STEP:
INDULGE YOURSELF
it is so delicious, and is better the next day after sitting in the fridge for 12 hours.
the best thing to do is make it the night before you plan on eating it.
you will die and go to heaven.
or maybe not heaven, since it is called sinner's delight.
either way, its worth it.

24 hours after we made it

48 hours after we made it (it was gone about 10 minutes after this picture was taken)

oh yeah, we downed it in 2 days. all by ourselves.
didn't even share with anyone.

it's dangerous.

I don't know if you've received the Liebster Award before, but either way, you've received it from me today. Feel free to ignore this if you've already been nominated. Have a great weekend!
