another first

jane's hair has grown out wonderfully this past summer. it started to get little ringlets, but also look a little bit more like a mullet. i was torn because i loved her little curls, but not so much the mullet. so i finally got brave enough to get her first little chop. my aunt was kind enough to do it for me, and whenever she is involved with hair, i know i will be pleased with the result. Also, she was so dang cute in that huge apron...

 i had to feed her crackers and kneel down below her to get her to put her head in the right position, but she was a lot better than i was expecting- being the extreme wiggle worm that she is!

everything was fine and dandy until...the monstrous hair dryer made its debut. oh my heck that thing was her worst nightmare. oh, so very traumatic. she was holding onto me for dear life and acting as if it was a flesh and hair eating dragon. poor little squirt. at least her little bob was looking as cute as ever afterwards.

she was a bit skeptical though, obviously.
